Things I heating up on the job-search front. I have an interview, second, with Markit on Wednesday. Today, I talked to Lehman Brothers and they want me to come for an interview. The position at Lehman is… interesting but there are some things that I don’t like. First of all, it looks a little bit unstructured. The manager is OK I think, and he’s only been there for 4 months. I could probably work with him.
In any case, I would like to get job offers from both companies. I would then pick the better one. If I only get one, I will probably take it. Commuting to NY might prove a little bit painful, and the 10-hour workdays will not be so easy. But for my wife, it will be almost the same. I would have to leave an hour earlier but would probably come back at the same time.
Fabian is getting more active. He can roll over completely no problem. He wants to look around and is not happy when he cannot do that — a smart and demanding boy. He smiles a lot to me. My wife cannot live without him. He’s everything for her.
