1st day; eye contact

My first day with a new manager! I have to say that I think this is going to work very good. I have a good rapport with Tom. The only thing that can make it bad is the product that we’re working on. We might both get fed up with it. I don’t think that’s going to happen, though. I believe we’ll make it a very good product and both of us will be successful. I sure hope so.
I read a great article about maintaining good eye contact. I should make it seem that I talk to one person. I only make eye contact with one person at a time (5-7 seconds). I then move on to a different person, in a different section. But it is critical that I maintain eye contact with one person, not with the whole group. Otherwise, it’s like not maintaining an eye contact at all. By maintaining good eye contact I can feed off the audience. I can see what they have to say to me. To be a good speaker, it’s essential that I improve my eye contact.
