Yesterday, my manager decided that we have to start earlier. He wants to have the connex team by 9:30. Thus, I had to leave at 8:30 and be here by 9:30. This is 15 minutes more than it usually takes me. Well, I’ll survive. It would have been perfect if I kept my schedule and was starting at 10, but hey, hopefully I can start at 9:30. It should not be too bad. I still have time to do some morning tasks.
It took me a while to get into shape after my vacation to Poland. I had not been able to wake up at 6AM since I came back to US. Today, I woke up at 7. I will start my regular wake-up schedule and will wake up at 6 from now on. I have a lot of reading to do. I have a lot of catching up to do. I have a lot of books that I would like to read. I cannot delay this. I have to do it.
My goal in a few years is to start a consulting firm. I can work by myself for a while. After then, I would like to start a consulting shop in Poland, either in Krakow or in Wroclaw. Hopefully, I can get a contract for a year or so and then maybe I can even expand. It would allow me to make a decent buck, I think. We’ll see.
But in order for me to do that, I have to get more comfortable in architecture, in SOA/web services, in AJAX, and in Hibernate. I just have to be comfortable in all areas.
