Another round of big changes at our company. Our boss is leaving! That’s big. As a result, 2 new leaders were promoted. That’s good how quickly he was able to promote new people. This is how Jack Walsch does things and how he recommends to move quickly in this situation. I like our leader. Greg is a good guy. I think what happened is that Brian did not like to report to anybody. He wanted more autonomy and I think that’s what led him to this decision.
How will things change going forward? It remains to be seen. I hope the changes are for the better. I hope the leader will bring new views and that their vision is a good one. We’ll see.
I have recently reverted to waking up at 6am and I don’t like it. I don’t have enough time. I am not reading enough because there is just not enough time. I am going to adjust the clock to 5:30 and my deadline to go to sleep by 10. It’s more reasonable I think. I just need a bit more time for personal development.
I bought a Kindle yesterday! Yeah! I think once I get it, I will love it. It’s a great device for voracius readers, which I consider myself as being. Then only negative is that I have to wait a few weeks until I receive it. Not a big deal, but sucks. I got a reward of $250 over the weekend and that has made the situation possible. Money is tight lately because we have a lot of parties. But things should improve soon. Let’s hope. 🙂
My son Victor started smiling more and more. I don’t think it’s his born reaction. I think he is actually smiling. He’s not making any smiling sounds when he does smile, but it’s so nice to see it on his face. He is a happy baby. I love it.
I need to introduce more talking in our family. We need to talk at the table. I need to talk to my sons when I put them to sleep. I need to talk to my wife. I need to encourage my wife to talk to my sons. That’s how they develop. This is an excellent tip from reading Raising Lifelong Learners, which I’m reading now.
