So far being a home owner is very enjoyable. Yes, there is more work. Yes, it’s much more expensive. But it’s really much more satisfying!
The biggest difference is when I look at my kids. Their options opened up! Really. They can do much, much more now. They have a nice playable basement. They have a great backyard. They can really do all they want.
I am learning quite a few things as well.
This year, I want to work on our lawn. I want to make it greener. I want to improve the structure of it. I want to aerate it. And I want to build a basin or two in the back to improve the water flow.
Seems like a never ending fun! And that’s why we love the house.
