Jason said he does not want to be a lead anymore. Few others might be thinking about it. I know David said it at one point, though I’m not sure if that’s still the case.
Being a lead is a tough job.
Some people like it, some people can’t take it. It requires special skills.
I view it differently.
I get motivation for it. I have grown over the years in how I perceive it. It’s not something I have to do. I am an OK engineer. I get stuff done. Nobody has to push me.
Do I want to continue being a lead? I don’t see it any other way at this point. I think I’m helping people.
