Workday

I still don’t know a lot. I still have to learn quite a few things. I’m working at a different environment here at Markit. I’m dealing with more complex dev world. It’s j2ee and jboss and jms. It’s a lot to take. It’s a lot to learn. I feel dumb at times, but I think it’s a good thing. Oh, I forgot, we’re also dealing more in the Linux world. I feel dumb, but I think it’s good that I am the dumbest person on the team. I know that I am fairly week in the setup, sys admin, world. But I also know that I will learn a lot here. I will be up and running in no time. It’s a big challenge, but so far I like it.
In any workplace, I have an attitude that I’m preparing for my next job. I think that if I master j2ee, hibernate, swing, linux, and ajax, I should be very marketable. I am shooting for my next job to be either a senior architect, or a team lead, or a manager. I should not accept anything less.
