Tom is definetely leaving Markit. He told Samir today and the Luxoft guys. But we still don’t know who our manager is going to be. We’re going to have a meeting at 10AM tomorrow and maybe we’ll find out then, but I don’t know. I don’t know how this is going to play out. I hope it’s going to be acceptable to me. If not, after a few more months, I will have an incentive to leave.
I am also going to write a LinkedIn recommendation for Tom. I liked working with him. He is a good man. He was a very good manager, the best I’ve had.
Fabian is such a funny and happy boy. Though, he knows how to get nervous. He knows how to show when he’s not happy. He is not happy when I leave for work. He cries and he puts his head on the floor and he almost bangs it. It’s funny, but he does that.
I love to play with him. He understands more and more every day. When I tell him to do something, he knows it. I don’t think he understands English yet, and that is something I’m going to work on. He also does not focus too much when I am reading books for him. This is something very important for me. I want him to develop a life-long reading habit. If I can do that, I will have achieved a lot.
