Resignation

I hate to wait. I have a lot of things on my mind now and I feel stressed. It’s not really a good situation but I think it is a temporary situation.
The first thing is Markit. I accepted a verbal offer. I know the benefits. Everything is almost settled. I am almost one leg in the door. But… I still have not received my offer letter. Until I receive it, I cannot resign from my current position at IAC. And this creates the stressful situation. Resigning is not fun. It’s a stressful situation and the sooner I do it the better.
On top of that, I have a phone interview with Google on Wednesday at 1PM. Now I think I’m not going to get into Google. They’re heavy into algorithms and I’m not too strong with them. I am learning, but I cannot learn that much that soon. Hopefully the guy either tells me that I am not a good match or does not ask me the questions about algorithms. But what if I go onsite and fail there? Is that better? Yes and no. But we’ll see.
Fabian is crying in the middle of the night for two nights in a row. He wakes up and cries really loud for a minute or two. My wife then calms him but still, not sure what’s happening. He is almost five months, tomorrow, and he still eats a lot during the night. He’s just as hungry as his father. 🙂
