I had a talk with Fabian before Saturday’s game. I told him I want to see him sweat. I want him to stay alert and give all he has. For the most part, he responded. That was a much better game from him than what I’ve seen so far. He hustled. He stayed in control.
That’s really all I ask from him: to give his best, to leave his heart on the field. I will try to talk to him before each game. Hopefully that will help.
As a reward, I took my boys to a red bulls soccer game. I think both liked it. I think they will remember the experience for some time. It’s a really nice stadium, so it was a nice experience for me as well.
